Britt Butler

Psychology Assistant

My goal is to help neurodivergent and/or queer adults manage symptoms of depression and anxiety, as well as cope with stress, dysregulation, and burnout, through the use of evidence-based treatments such as Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

I can help you to recognize patterns in your thoughts and actions that contribute to feeling distressed, and help you to change those patterns. I am dedicated to understanding your situation, collaborating to define realistic goals to help build the life that you want to live, and creating a plan to accomplish those goals. We will work together to identify your challenges, your strengths, and effective coping skills to regulate your nervous system and your emotions.

I have particular interests in supporting Autistic adults and adults with ADHD as well as those who identify as LGBTQIA+ and those who practice consensual non-monogamy. I am sex positive, kink-informed, and trauma-informed.

I have a Master's degree from The Ohio State University and have received clinical training in a variety of inpatient and outpatient settings. I am not licensed and am supervised by licensed psychologist Jamie Bourn, Ph.D.
