Asiah Stewart
Psychology Trainee
I am a PhD student in School Psychology, currently working toward completing my doctoral degree, and a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Ohio with experience in community mental health, hospital settings, and K–12 schools. I’ve supported individuals across a range of diagnoses through outpatient services, individual and group therapy, diagnostic assessments, and evidence-based approaches such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT).
In our work together, I strive to create a supportive and collaborative environment where your experiences and goals are at the center. I aim to understand the broader context—what’s working, what’s meaningful, and what’s possible. My goal is to help individuals build practical skills, strengthen emotional insight, and navigate life’s complexities with confidence and clarity.
I’ve led group therapy in intensive outpatient programs, collaborated with interdisciplinary teams to develop treatment plans, and facilitated psychoeducational sessions to build coping strategies and interpersonal skills. I’ve seen how meaningful change happens when care is both accessible and aligned with the environments people live and learn in. I’m committed to bridging community and educational systems to provide comprehensive, person-centered care that supports long-term resilience.
