Danielle Haslem

Psychology Intern

As a Black woman and mother, I recognize the powerful influence of intersecting identities on each individual’s experience. In my practice, I prioritize a multicultural approach that celebrates authenticity and encourages clients to honor their roots as they navigate new paths in life. I draw on a person-centered, cognitive-behavioral framework to support clients in setting meaningful goals, while helping them explore the intricate connection between their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors.

My experience spans early childhood through K-12 settings, as well as working with adults across various life stages. I am passionate about enhancing my skills in supporting individuals facing autism, depression, anxiety, trauma, and acculturative stress. To me, courage is not about having everything figured out; it’s about having the strength to say, “I need help” and the willingness to engage in the journey of growth and healing.

I  am currently unlicensed and am working under the direct supervision of Ryan Hansen, Ph.D.
